Q & A

  • What if my child doesn't want me there?

There are over 1000 students in attendance, unless you are actually seeking your child out, the chances of running into them is slim. If you are overly concerned we can have you work in an area that is completely out of sight.

  • What if I can't stay up that late?

It is amazing that once the party starts how the time flies by. After your student leaves for Prom, take a Power Nap and join us for the fun! If you still feel you can't be there that night, help with set up Friday night or Saturday morning.

  • What if I'm too busy to be able to help?

We are all very busy. Many of our volunteers even work multiple jobs but take off just for this event. It's just 5 hours to make sure your student and their friends are safe for a night. Many people watch more than 5 hours a week in television shows. There are opportunities to help Friday evening, Saturday during the day, during Post Prom and even tear down Sunday morning!

  • What if I have limitations of what I can do, but still want to help?

Not a problem, when selecting a job for the night of Post Prom communicate with our volunteer chair for assistance to find the best job for you. We have many jobs that you can sit while doing.

  • What if I want to help with the planning process?

Check out the Help Wanted link at the top of the page or contact Melissa Eisma and she will help find an area to work with. 402-657-2424 or mwpostprom@gmail.com. Many of our current chair's children are graduating this year. We are always looking Post Prom leaders and teams, if you have an interest please contact Melissa.

  • What if my child is a Freshman or Sophomore, can I still help?

Absolutely! They are the future leaders of Post Prom. It's a great way to get a better understanding of how Post Prom works and meet other Millard West parents.

  • How do I sign up?

Click the SIGN UP HERE! button above and the Sign Up Genius will walk you through the sign up process.
