Facts and Answers

  • All Millard West junior, seniors and their dates may attend this event.

 

  • Post Prom is Saturday, April 20th, 2024 11pm - 2:30am.

​

  • All students must be checked in no later than 11:30 pm.

​

  • Open House for family and friends to check out the finished party and purchase raffle tickets for our great prize baskets is Saturday, April 20th from 7pm - 9 pm. Get the kids out the door and stop by!

​

  • Students and dates are invited and encouraged to attend Post Prom, even if they DO NOT attend the actual Prom.

​

  • All tickets are sold at a nominal cost before Post Prom for $25 per ticket with a t-shirt.  (Did you know the cost per child to put on Post Prom is $50.00 per student, the extra expense is covered by parent donations, business and community donations for your child to attend!)

​

  • Each student's name is recorded when he/she purchases a ticket. If a student who purchased a ticket does not check in at Post Prom by 11:30 pm, the parents are called.

​

  • Students are permitted to leave during the "locked in" event only IF a parent comes in to pick up their child only, shows a valid ID, and signs their child out releasing MW Post Prom from liability.  Students must be present to win all prizes drawn at 2:00 a.m.  

​

  • Winners of the door prizes and gift baskets are announced at 2:00 am. Jr/Sr prizes in the past have included cameras, computers, game systems, concert tickets, $500 visa gift cards, AirPod Pro's, tablets, and TV's.  STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

 

  • Everything is FREE once the students enter the front doors. This includes: food, beverage, DJ, Karaoke, casino games, inflatables, rides, airbrush tattoos, caricature artist, interactive games and live show in the auditorium. "Fun Money" will be provided to students at check-in and can be earned in the casino and interactive games, which can be used in the prize redemption store.

 

  • Breathalyzers are used as the students first enter the doors to encourage a "Drug Free" Post Prom. We also have Douglas County Police Officers present to ensure safety for all.
